CEDAR CREEK PARK Has a six mile paved path to Jones Beach during
spring and summer, the park serves as an entry point. Plus the park
has a 1 and a 1.5 mile path Cedar Creek features an aerodrome field,
An archery field is available just bring your equipment. Sled hills

Stream
VALLEY STREAM STATE PARK has a
walking course, a half-mile loop with 15 stations, where
walkers can do a variety of stretching and strengthening
exercises. The park offers picnic areas with tables,
fireplaces and grills; children's play areas; horseshoe,
volleyball, basketball, bocce ball courts; ball fields; nature

Hempstead
HEMPSTEAD LAKE
STATE PARK has bridle trails for horse
back riding, biking and hiking trails. 20 tennis courts, children's
playgrounds, shaded picnic. A picnic pavilion is available for large
parties. For fresh water fishing the state requires a license to
angle for trout, large mouth bass as well as many others can be
