SUNKEN MEADOW STATE PARK has six miles of trails, including the northern starting point of the Suffolk County Greenbelt Trail fronting on Long Island Sound The three miles of beach. Activities include swimming in Long Island Sound; hiking ; biking, horseback riding, picnicking, fishing and cross-country skiing. In addition, the park has three 9-hole golf courses, a driving range and putting green. Kayaking at field 3 with permit (no charge-park office).
