Riverhead
INDIAN ISLAND COUNTY PARK
offers
hiking trails on a 275 acre park located at the estuarine mouth of
the Peconic River. Camping is for tent and trailer, individuals and
camping club. Restrooms and showers are available for campers.
Picnicking is available, complete with picnic tables, grills,
benches, and views of a glistening Flanders Bay. More

ROBERT MOSES
STATE PARK has a long nature boardwalk from field 5 that will
take you to the lighthouse where you can climb the 182 steps to the
top. Robert Moses State Park is 875 acres with five miles of
white, fine, sandy beaches stretching eastward from the Fire Island
Inlet. Four bathhouses, and a beach shop. More

MONEY POND TRAIL

located near the Montauk Lighthouse and the second

the beginning of Seal haul out Trail. This scenic trail is approximately one mile long and is well worth the hike.

northern trailhead of the Nassau Suffolk Greenbelt Trail that
extends to Bethpage State Park and eventually the south shore of
Nassau County. 40 acres of hilly terrain with scenic views of
the Cold Spring Harbor. Ideal for bird watching. Observe spring and
