BELMONT LAKE STATE PARK
offers horseback riding, hiking, cross-country skiing, boating, fishing, picnicking, and biking, The park also has playing fields, horseshoe and basketball courts and playgrounds. The 28-acre lake is the focal point of the park. Dogs must be leashes.

BETHPAGE STATE PARK
has hiking and biking trails (including five miles of the Long Island Greenbelt Trail), playing fields, tennis courts and cross-county skiing trails. Best best known for its five world-class golf courses, but visitors flock to the park to use its picnic facilities, and bridle paths.

has bridle paths and hiking trails. Beautiful forested hills and valleys at the headwaters of the Nissequogue River. Campsites: 50 tent & trailer. CATHEDRAL PINES COUNTY PARK
offers Hiking, cross-country skiing and a six - mile mountain bike trail and is maintained by CLIMB. 320 acres large and is located along the headwaters of the Carmans River. CAUMSETT STATE HISTORIC PARK
offers miles of bridle paths, hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and nature trails over acres of woodland, meadows, rock shoreline and salt marsh and is the former estate of Marshall Field III.
